Funding Sources

Local Network Fund

The Local Network Fund is a central government backed scheme. It targets money to voluntary and charitable groups working with children and young people aged 0 - 19.

The grants are targeted at community-driven initiatives helping children and young people. living in poverty or deprivation. It targets those having difficulty accessing the services or support available to others.

Those helped includes local playgroups, youth clubs, dance groups and adventure Centres.

All grant applications are assessed by a panel of people from Telford and Wrekin or Shropshire. You can be sure that they are aware of the needs of local people.

Administration:

The Local Network Fund for Shropshire and Telford and Wrekin is administered by The Community Foundation for Shropshire and Telford. This year the fund has £333,250 available for grants ranging from £250 to £7,000. For an application pack including guidelines phone the National Call Centre on 0845 113 0161.
