Community Health and Enterprise (CHEC), 31 High Street Madeley

Workers Educational Association (WEA)
Based at the People's Centre, Madeley, they organise a variety of special interest courses across the district. For information on current courses telephone 01952 583886.
Black History Working Group (BHWG)
The group has over 300 members living in socially deprived areas of Telford and Wrekin including Madeley parish. It exists to promote cultural history of people who's birthplace or ethnic origin is African. We also celebrate the U.K's cultural diversity. Contact Anne Lavill on 01952 595351
The Friends of Telford Town Park
The group meets regularly with representatives from Telford and Wrekin to raise issues concerning the Town Park. They work together to bring about improvements. Contact Mr D Nichols on 07810 505013
The Gorge Women's Institute (WI)

Ironbridge and Severn Gorge Lions Club
Is a group of volunteers whose main activities are supporting local, national and international community services. They provide social help for young and old. Anybody interested in becoming a lion should contact Graham Nicholas on 01952 588285.
