Telford Trail 5

Telford's very own walking event! The Telford Trail is a challenge walk held annually.

The walk was launched in 2004 by STROWP and is gaining in popularity each year. South Telford Rights of Way Partnership (STROWP) was set up to define and improve access for rights of way throughout South Telford with support from the Severn Gorge Countryside Trust.

Following the path of the South Telford Way the walk is a 14 mile loop starting at Spout Farm House, Telford Town Park and takes in the rugged Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Site and iconic Iron Bridge. It can also be taken in smaller sections of 2, 8 or 11 miles.

Discover some secret countryside and opportunities for picturesque walks that may be closer to home than you think.

The trail may be walked for pleasure or to raise funds for a charity of your choice. As a way of encouraging sponsorship we have support from 'Millets' the outdoors store by way of a free pair of walking boots for the individual who raises the most sponsorship money.
